MFA MILOŠOSKI VISITS BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia, Antonio Milošoski, is conducting an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the capacity of Chairman of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.

Minister Milošoski will have meetings with the Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with Mr. Bakir Izetbegović, who is also the Chairperson of the National Delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, with the Presidents of the major political parties in the country, as well as with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ana Trišić Babić.

Furthermore, Minister Milošoski will have a working dinner with the ambassadors of the Council of Europe member states in Sarajevo and other relevant international representatives in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The topic of the discussions at the aforesaid meetings will be the role of the Council of Europe in the constitutional reforms in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the views on this process of the political representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina. A special emphasis will be placed on the harmonization of the electoral legislation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the provisions of the European Convention on Human Rights, which will also ensure enforcement of the judgment of the European Court of Human rights in the case of Sejdić and Finci versus Bosnia and Herzegovina.
